Refund Policy

1. Introduction

At Legacy Fitness and Athletics, we are committed to providing our members with high-quality services and experiences. Please review our Refund Policy carefully, as it outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds for our services.

2. General Refund Policy

All payments made under any membership contract, including but not limited to monthly fees, annual fees, and any other services, are non-refundable. This policy applies to all membership types, including but not limited to:

  • Month-to-Month Memberships
  • 1-Year Commitment Paid Monthly Memberships
  • 1-Year Commitment Paid in Full Memberships

     

3. Exceptions

While our general policy is that all payments are non-refundable, the following exceptions apply:

3.1 Cancellation by Gym:
In the event that Legacy Fitness and Athletics cancels your membership contract for any reason, including but not limited to, non-compliance with the Facility’s policies and rules, any prepaid Membership Fees will be refunded on a prorated basis.

3.2 Cancellation by Member:
If a Member cancels their membership by providing written notice to the Facility at least thirty (30) days before the desired cancellation date, any prepaid Membership Fees will be refunded on a prorated basis, minus any applicable administrative fees. This applies only to month-to-month 1-Year Commitment Memberships. Please note that a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the remaining membership fees will be charged for early termination of such memberships. This does not apply to memberships paid in full, which are non-refundable.

4. Non-Refundable Services

The following services and fees are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Personal training sessions
  • Group classes
  • Sauna access fees
  • Any additional service fees not included in the standard membership

5. Lock-In Period for 12-Month Term Memberships

Members who purchase a 12-month term membership are locked in for the entire term of their contract. Refunds are not provided except in specific situations outlined below:

  1. Relocation: If a Member relocates more than 30 km away from the Facility, they may cancel their membership by providing proof of the new address. In such cases, any prepaid Membership Fees will be refunded on a prorated basis.
  2. Gym Relocation: If the Gym relocates more than 10 km away from its current location, the Member may cancel the membership and receive a prorated refund of any prepaid fees.
  3. Health Issues: If a Member experiences prolonged ailments that prevent them from participating in physical activity, they may cancel their membership by providing a medical certificate. A prorated refund will be issued for any unused portion of the membership.

Please include your full name, membership details, and the reason for your refund request. Our team will review your request and respond within 15 business days.

7. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days of receiving your request. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. Please allow additional time for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
